Zero DSR/X 2023 ➥ Real Life Charge time 😫

With a 6 kW Rapid Charger the Zero DSR/X official specs are:
– 1.1 hours or 1h06 (95% charged)
– 1.6 hours or 1h46 (100% charged), but do they mean 110%
– Battery Max capacity: 17.3 kWh
– Battery Nominal capacity: 15.1 kWh = This is 110% as per Zero
That means 100% is actually 13.7 kWh
REAL LIFE Charge Time:
– 1h00 to 81% (11.1 kWh) (not 12.2)
– 1h06 (1.1 hour) to 86% (11.8 kWh) = average power of 10.7 kW
– 1h18 (1.3 hour) to 95% (13 kWh) = average power of 10 kW
– 1h25 (1.4 hour) to 100% (13.7 kWh) = average power of 9.7 kW
NOTES:
– I don’t reach 95% in 66 minutes as advertised by Zero. Instead I need 79 minutes. Which is a 20% difference
– It requires an average Power of 11.8 kW to reach 95% in 66 minutes. It’s not what I get currently
– I will do a test from 0 to 110% to see if the charging curve is different #switzero #switzerorider #zeromotorcycles
